Project Proposal title: The Makeni Urban Sanitation & Sustainability Initiative
The Makeni Urban Sanitation & Sustainability Initiative is a multi-sectoral program designed to address the growing waste management challenges in Makeni City. As the city expands, the pressure on existing sanitation infrastructure has led to increased environmental degradation and public health risks. This initiative proposes a hybrid approach: combining modernized waste collection logistics with grassroots community education to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable urban environment.
