A team building with sustainable impact, because in addition to the waste you immediately remove from nature, you also contribute to the collection and recycling of waste in the most polluted rivers in the world, in Albania, Indonesia and Cameroon.
What do you get as team building?
- Team building of a half or full day
- From 10 to 1000 participants
- On 1 day and location or spread over several days and/or locations
- You choose the location, somewhere in Belgium or abroad
- On the water (with kayaks) or alongside it
- Collecting river waste is fun, sustainable and has a direct local impact
- We provide a drink at the end of the action to celebrate the collected kilos of plastic
- Optional: inspiration session on the issues and story of River Cleanup
- Optional: workshop on how to avoid single-use plastics at home and in the office
What do we do for you?
We organize the entire team building and help you with your communication with the participants.
- Location scouting, route defining, city/municipality approval, disposal of collected waste
- We provide all materials for the participants: gloves, garbage grabs, garbage bags, scales, possibly wading suits,....
- Welcome and safety briefing
- Trained and experienced coordinators to guide you during the team building exercise
- Insurance for all registered participants
- Participants can register via our website on a personalized Cleanup page
- One point of contact at River Cleanup who will organize and manage your team cleanup from A to Z (project management)
- Supporting communication and briefing for participants to prepare them for the team cleanup
- Invoice
- Optional: quality action photos and dynamic aftermovie by professional photo/videographer
What is the impact of your team building?
- Each team building contributes to River Cleanup's mission to make rivers plastic-free worldwide. In addition to the operational costs of team building, an amount (donation) goes to preventive collection, cleanup and recycling of waste along the world's most polluted rivers. For every euro we collect 1 kilo of plastic from highly polluted rivers in Albania, Indonesia and Cameroon.
- Optional: tax certificate for this donation amount (up to 45% tax deductible), this amount will then not included in the invoice
- You get an impact certificate for the kilos of plastic we are able to clean up thanks to your donation (see above).
- Participants become aware of the plastic problem so they can become part of the solution and start using less single-use plastic themselves.
- The kilograms of plastic that all participants remove from the river during the team building will not wash out to sea or break down into microplastics! Less plastic in the environment, good for people, animals and nature.
How much does it cost?
- 40 to 100 euros per participant, depending on the size of the group
