Trnava Cleanup ,,Zaži čisté rieky - Experiance clean Parná"

We take action along Danube in Trnava!
Experience clean rivers – Experiance clean Parná
Enjoy an experience during which we can clean our environment, our rivers and streams! And by doing so, we also clean our souls.
Via our senses, we perceive our surrounding, and this time we can truly see it, hear it and feel it in a community of people, who gather for the same reason – to deepen the connection with ourselves, to strengthen the relations with others and mainly to support the protection of our precious natural treasures.
Why Parná?
Parná is a stream in western Slovakia, 38.5 km long, and it is one of the right tributaries to the river Trnávka. Water bodies are complicated systems and they are an important part of the country with which they are in a constant interaction. A lot of pollution gets through into the water systems, and if these pollutants will not be dismantled, they would gradually increase their concentration downstream, which would lead to the destruction of ecosystems. The products of human activities, such as plastic bottles, are one of the main pollutants, and it is our main aim to collect and remove them, and to point out to this global problem of contaminating the environment.
What do you need to bring with you?
The Trnava’s Council will provide brand-new gloves and rubbish bags, however, in order to produce as little waste as possible, we kindly ask you to bring your own equipment if possible. And of course, don’t forget to bring a bottle of water for yourself as it might be hot!
Where and when?
We will meet up on Saturday, 27.6., at 14:00 at the main parking lot in Kamenný Mlyn. The route map can be found in the event.
Who is behind it?
The activity is organized by the Human Health Institute n.o.:
