RIVER CLEANUP DAY - AUGUST 2026: DENVER RIVER

Le #RIVERCLEANUPDAY revient le samedi 22 août 2026 à Bonamouang (Douala) pour une nouvelle action citoyenne de nettoyage et de sensibilisation autour de nos rivières et de nos quartiers.

Nous vous donnons rendez-vous à l’ENIEG de Bonamoussadi, qui servira de point de rencontre et de départ pour l’activité.

🧭 Au programme de la matinée :
• 07h00 – Accueil, enregistrement et échauffement
• 08h00 – Sensibilisation sur la pollution plastique, annonce importante et briefing de sécurité
• 08h15 – Début de la collecte des déchets dans les environs
• 09h45 – Retour, pesée des déchets et moment convivial

📌 Inscription simple :
Nom complet + e-mail (1 e-mail = 1 ou plusieurs participants). Communauté optionnelle.

⚠️ À ne pas oublier :
🧤 Gants et sacs fournis sur place
👕 Tenue confortable + chaussures fermées obligatoires (pas de sandale)
🚫 Ne pas manipuler d’objets dangereux

🌊 Hello River Warriors!

The #RIVERCLEANUPDAY is back on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Bonamouang (Douala) for another community cleanup and awareness-raising action focused on our rivers and neighborhoods.

We’ll meet at ENIEG de Bonamoussadi, which will serve as the meeting point and starting location for the activity.

🧭 Morning Schedule:
• 7:00 AM – Welcome, registration and warm-up
• 8:00 AM – Awareness session on plastic pollution, key announcement and safety briefing
• 8:15 AM – Start of the waste collection around the area
• 9:45 AM – Return, waste weighing and community gathering

📌 Simple Registration:
Full name + email (1 email = 1 or more participants). Community/organisation affiliation is optional.

⚠️ What to Remember:
🧤 Gloves and bags will be provided on site
👕 Comfortable clothing + closed shoes are required (no sandals)
🚫 Do not handle dangerous objects
