Waterway Cleanup - We Are IN The Same Boat
As part of global action to mark World Cleanup Day 2021, together with
Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Club(GIDBC), the Consulate General
of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou(CG GNZ) is organizing a
River Cleanup event in Guangzhou, a call to the Dutch community and
volunteers to join hands to clean up local waterways.

Where (meet up location): 105 Dongyi Street, Guangzhou International
Dragon Boat Club, Haizhu Tongchuanghui, Xinjiaozhong Road, Guangzhou
What: Dragon boat paddling and litter picking
Program
10:00 meet up at base （dress code: water sports, fast dry）
10:00-10:30 Briefing by CG GNZ and basics dragon boat paddling by GIDBC
10:30-12:00 paddling in Haizhu Lake and litter picking with tools provided
12:00 return to base and end of event
World Cleanup Day unites more than 20 million people in 180 countries, who come together to tackle litter and plastic pollution, and raise awareness and encourage action.
