The Embassy Kingdom of the Netherlands in Havana, Cuba, is organizing a cleanup at the Havana Forest. As part of global action to mark World Cleanup Day 2021, this event will take place on Friday, September 17. We will start early in the morning, to take advantage of the cool temperatures and the shade of the trees.
Located along the Almendares River, Havana Forest is the only urban forest in the city, and welcomes about a hundred visitors every day. With this small yet meaningful contribution, we show the commitment of the Netherlands to work and learn from others, towards a water-secure and sustainable world.
