In line with the objective of Addis Ababa river project and recognizing rivers are the lifeline of our cities, our embassy together with Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity, SNV, Amref, VEI, Addis Ababa City Administration Solid Waste Management Agency, Green Roteract Concept Ethiopia, and Rotary international Ethiopia (specifically Rotary Club of Addis Ababa West and Rotary Club of Central Mela) are jointly organizing annual river cleaning campaign on 25 Saturday from 8:30 – 11:00 AM. The objective of the event is to raise public awareness about rivers, to encourage their protection and inspire joint efforts of water resources conservation.
