The clean up will be at Funzi Island, Kenya. Where I will be working together with the community, schools nearby and also partner with other like minded organizations to make the day a success. Marine litter in that area has led to increased death of sea turtle and fish and we need to curb that by educating the community on importance of keeping our beach and home clean. My target is to have everyone be it the community members, schools, friends in attendance.
We will also weigh the plastic, glass or any other waste we find so as to see how many kilograms of waste was in that beach.
