Event Description:
The Abundant Life Foundation is organizing a Ganga Cleanup Drive at JP Setu Ghat, Digha, Patna, as part of our ongoing commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable habits. Around 15 volunteers will participate in this early morning cleanup session.
Participants will be provided with reusable gloves (supported by River Cleanup) and bin bags for waste collection. The focus will primarily be on removing religious and plastic waste from the ghat area. The collected waste will be responsibly handed over to Patna Municipal Corporation vehicles, which will be called to the site for proper disposal.
After the cleanup, volunteers will use hand sanitizers and participate in a short awareness talk on cleanliness and environmental sustainability before concluding the drive.
Together, we aim to inspire more citizens to take small but meaningful actions toward a cleaner Ganga and a healthier planet. 🌍💧
