City of Kolkata is a metropolitan city located at the bank of River Hoogly, this River has played a major role in the development of this city. With increased urbanization and population explosion the impact of pollution on the River is significantly increasing. The main objective of this cleanup programme is to create awareness among people and to reduce the load of Non- degradable Pollutant load from the River Hooghly.
