Early November brought incredible energy as River Cleanup teams across Belgium, the Netherlands, Cameroon, DRCongo, Cambodia, and Indonesia joined CNN’s Call to Earth Day under the theme Guard your green space 🌍
From school cleanups in Belgium to a 200 student cleanup along the Mekong River in Cambodia, and from daily hotspot cleanups in Indonesia to volunteer actions in Kinshasa, every activity showed how local efforts can spark global momentum. Students, community leaders, and volunteers collected waste, shared knowledge, and inspired others to protect their environment.
We were especially proud that the hard work of our River Warriors was featured on CNN through an article and the reposting of our social content. This recognition reflects the dedication of our teams and the impact of communities taking action together.
