Hi, we are Nikhitha and Patrick from Germany.
As visitors, we believe it’s important not only to enjoy this country but also to give something back. Tourism in Albania is growing fast, and more people are discovering the country’s breathtaking landscapes. But with this rise, plastic pollution is also increasing and threatening rivers, wildlife, and the natural beauty that makes Albania so special. That’s why on September 10th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we’ll be cleaning up the Ishmi River Delta, an area rich in nature but heavily impacted by waste.
By joining together, we can:
• Restore part of this fragile ecosystem
• Raise awareness about the impact of plastic pollution
• Show that small acts of care can create lasting change
September is also World Cleanup Month, with millions of people around the globe taking action for a cleaner planet. This is our way of contributing locally to a worldwide movement.
