The coastal clean-up is organized by the Environmental Concerns, Sustainability and Development Unit of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (La Union, Philippines) in observance of International Coastal Clean-Up Day and Philippines Civil Service Month. Personnel from the University will volunteer during the event together with community members.
