ITAJU clean-up

My name is Lilian Wanyonyi, and I am both a doctoral student at University of Antwerp and a lecturer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology in Bondo, Kenya. I participated in a river clean -up challenge at the university of Antwerp this year in March and I was motivated to organize one in Kenya with my students who are enthusiastic about environmental conservation.
Established in 2013, International Tourism Association of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University (ITAJU) is a student-based association representing over 200 tourism students. The ITAJU team is highly motivated and eager to embrace new initiatives, particularly those that foster international networking with organizations dedicated to environmental sustainability. We would be honored to collaborate with you in organizing our first-ever River Clean-Up Challenge in Western Kenya. We propose holding this event on September 20, 2024, in conjunction with World Clean-Up Day.
