Event Description

The Manica Youth Assembly (MAYA) invites youth and community members to the Manica Rise Clean Up 2026. This youth-led action focuses on environmental and climate justice by cleaning public spaces, reducing plastic waste, and promoting sustainable waste management in Mutare. Volunteers will collect litter, sort recyclables, and engage the community on keeping Manicaland clean and healthy.

Objectives

  1. Clean and restore Sakubva Market and nearby streets

  2. Raise awareness on proper waste disposal and climate justice
