On July 27, 2024, the ECCT Organization, in partnership with the Mbezi Beach B Subward, organized a significant beach and river cleanup event at Kidimbwi Beach and Ndumbwi River. This initiative was part of the Plastic-Free July campaign, aimed at raising awareness about the environmental impacts of single-use plastics and promoting sustainable practices within the community.
