The cleanup will take place on the riverside of the Tara River in the city of Taranto, in Southern Italy.
We expect participants to split up in two or more groups in order to reach not just the riverfront, but also the estuary and another small river, the Patemisco, which are quite polluted.
The CleanUp Italia network along with several environmental groups and volunteers will take care of logistics.
