World Cleanup Day 2026 - Antwerp
We’ll meet once again for World Cleanup Day in Antwerp at 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 19! 💙
A day when thousands of people around the world take action for clean rivers and a clean planet!
Together, we’ll collect waste along the Scheldt river. But it’s about more than just cleaning up: we’ll have extra entertainment and cleanups routes adapted for both kids and adults, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Schedule
[14:30] – Welcome & registration
Meet at the event location, collect your cleanup materials, get to know the other participants and discover the different booths and activities.
[15:00] – Cleanups starts
30 min - Kids Cleanup
1 hour - Chill Cleanup
1,5 hours - Challenge Cleanup
5 km - Cleanup Run (Pick up litter, while jogging!)
[Ongoing] – Extra activities for kids & adults
In addition to the cleanup, we’ll have fun activities and entertainment for both children and adults.
[17:00] – Closing moment
We come back together at the event location, take a look at the results, and celebrate what we achieved together.
[17:30] – End of the event
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for an outdoor activity. We’ll provide all the necessary cleanup materials!
