World Cleanup Day - Gent 2025
Join us in celebrating World Cleanup Day on September 19th, 2025!
The official UN day being September 20th, we thought, why not making already an impact the day before with the amazing River Warriors from Gent?! World Cleanup Day is a day when thousands of people around the world take action to help clean our planet.
So, are you in to join us? With your school, company, friends, family...The event is open to everyone..The more the merrier!
For the water lovers, we will have canoes to go on the water! How fun! The canoes will be first come first served!
We will meet up at Houtdok in Gent at 10am!
Schedule:
10:00 AM : Welcome
10:15 AM : Handing out material, safety briefing and registration canoes
10:30 AM : Introduction and start of the cleanup action
10:45 AM - 12:15 PM: Cleanup action
12:15 PM: Weighing and sorting of collected trash
12:30 PM: Celebration!
All materials will be provided. Just bring your smile and clothes appropriate to the weather.
After the cleanup, we'll celebrate with a drink!
